Determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in algae : Giresun coastline-Eastern Black Sea Region

In this study, in the spring of 2019, algaes Ulva species were collected from eigh station Giresun costline (Piraziz port, Bulancak Ke?ap station, Espiye-Opet stations, Tirebolu Görele and Eynesil May. They are brought to laboratory polyethylene bottles. general, amount seaweed samples be tested was weighed around 15-20 g. Wet algae extracted by methanol solutions with Soxhlet apparatus for 12 hours. By applying necessary purification processes obtained solution, concentrations 16 PAH components determined GC/MS device. The most compounds site highest. highest found fluorene, phenanthrene antresen, it is high Bulancak, Giresun-Liman sites. It belongs Piraziz site, which has lowest values among eight stations.
